12 Tracks cannot be right and it isn't. It's like in PGR3 where they have only 5 or 6 cities, but each environment has tons of tracks. I imagine they mean the same thing, 12 environments with many variations/routes to customize. Then add the downloadable content and you've got yourself plenty.
Because PGR3 looks just as good, if not better than GTHD and it was released a year earlier on an "inferior" machine (according to Sony).
I'm a gamer who LOVES FPS's. Those are my kind of games, just like some people love fighting games, RPG's, etc.. If you aren't into FPS's then you won't be into Halo.
Halo didn't necessarily do anything different or better than any game before, but what it did was do each of those things right. The weapons balance was great. The smooth gameplay was great. The graphics were great. The story was great. The AI was great. The map designs were great. The speed of the game was great...
Juevani I look forward to all of your "post" in every topic/article. I stopped taking you seriously a LONG time ago, so now it's purely comic relief. Thanks for the memories!
Heard that!
Why can't other companies screw up as good as Bungie did? *cough* RARE *cough* Halo2 is still in my top 10 games of all time.
That's really interesting to hear them talk like this, but also refreshing to know that they know what mistakes were made.
I could round up 20 or so sitting on the shelves in my town and send them over for retail sale. ;)
That guy's post on that forum gets pwned by the third comment! Hilarious! I mean PWNED!
Don't know, but those are pretty darn cool too!
What fanboy article did you copy/paste that nonsense from? I feel like the teacher that busts a student for plagiarism.
"MS Charges a ghastly $50 a year" for thier online service.
^^^ Come on. Get real. That's less than $5 a month...well worth the services received from XBL.
I can't believe how simple it is. This is really going to grow the XBL community and will push developers to creatively think about ways to integrate the PC and console communities. LIVE Anywhere only makes sense and it's only on Vista and the 360!
I live in a Central Illinois town with a population of 80,000. When new consoles are launched we don't ever get big shipments, and the shipments for the next few months are still small. Wii's are impossible to find and I was one of the lucky ones to catch a shipment at Best Buy as they opened. 360's are selling well, but it's hard to tell cause fairly big shipments come in regularly (maybe 12 Premiums and 6 Cores per shipment).
PS3's on the other hand are readily available at ...
to be able to buy a separately sold 120GB HDD, which I'll do cause I don't have a 1080p HDTV. So, I have NO need for an HDMI output on my 360.
I just hope they don't get ridiculous with the consumer cost of the 120GB HDD.
All in all, I'm PUMPED!
I've seen tons of XBOX 360's at my local BB, and asked the token video game geek employee about it. He asked if remembered the huge stack of 360's that were in the middle of the store, I said "yeah". He then went on to mention how they all sold, and the most recent shipments hit the shelves. He said they're receiving big shipments every week to replenish stocks.
I was worried for a while, and thought that the 360's weren't selling at all, but in reality it seems as i...
I have no problem with these assumptions. Sony Fans can continue to play in the last generation with the PS2, and I'll continue to enjoy the next generation with my 2 XBOX 360's.
...I totally didn't see that, and I was hoping that the game didn't really do that. I was getting worried real fast.
Thanks for the heads up.
Oh, like when the car hits the rock, stalls for a few seconds and then flips over on his side, for no apparent reason.
Oh, THOSE realistic physics...gotcha.
...that's why the XBOX and 360 haven't sold that well there. The Japanese just want to drift race, play games that have young girls, or games that have bright/annoying colors.
All the PS3 fanboys are holding on for March 07 as the "emergence month" for the PS3. Let's just say that I hope Sony delivers all their promises in March like they've hyped (Lair, Heavenly Sword, etc.). I'm definitely in a wait and see mode.
I do believe that now with the competition launching, there will be a lesser demand for the 360. That's natural.
I do also agree with theMART that MS is keeping their goals low, so that they'll be met and exceeded.
Finally, I also see this as a sign that there will be new version(s) of the 360 coming soon. Perhaps the core being produced with 20GB HDD, and possibly an 80GB premium system. Also, this holiday will also see the release of IPTV and the 360 will pro...
